Nintendo announce Kid Icarus: Uprising to be a game for the 3DS at the E3 convention. Originally released on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1987, Kid Icarus combined elements of Nintendo's three biggest franchises: Zelda, Mario, and Metroid. By this I mean that the main character (Pit) can "jump like Mario, has object-driven ability-enhancing like Link, and shoots enemies like Samus”.
