Street Fighter IV Beats the Rest

Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition from Capcom was one of the hotly anticipated titles that launched with the 3DS, the combination of huge special effects and 3D has obviously proved a winner as Capcom’s fighting game has taken the top spot in the very first UK 3DS Game Chart beating Nintendo’s own titles.

3DS Sells Big

Nintendo’s newest handheld, the 3DS, launched in Japan and was met with massive sales along with reports of nationwide sell outs. The new handheld, which boasts glasses-free 3D visuals, has also seen several of the launch titles reach the top of the All Formats chart in Japan.

Released in Japan these days never saw western eyes until Naruto: Clash of Ninja and Naruto: Ninja Council arrived on our shores in 2006. When I say on our shores, they didn’t reach Europe or the UK. Just North America. Where will the 3DS game be released? We’ll keep you informed.

No details of the 3DS game have yet been release. The original game on the NES involved a ninja (Ryu Hayabusa) whose father goes missing. His quest to find him leads to America where he discovers that two statues hidden by his father have the power to end the world - if united.
